Head out to Tokyo Midtown Hibiya this autumn for its outdoor film festival. Taking place daily between October 15 and October 23, you can catch several movies a day, ranging from Hollywood classics and newer releases to international short films and Japanese flicks.
Between 12noon and 3pm on weekdays (12noon-2pm on Oct 14) and between 12noon and 1pm on Saturday and Sunday, you can catch a variety of short movies screened in collaboration with Short Shorts Film Festival and Asia. All shorts are screened in their original languages with Japanese subtitles.
Trying to watch a show or movie that isn't in your native language can lead to a disappointing experience. Not understanding the dialogue can ruin the plot or character development and lead to a lot of confusion.
Audio description is an accessibility feature that helps everyone fully experience a show or movie. It provides narration on everything happening on screen. This includes physical actions, scene changes, background descriptions, costumes, and facial expressions. This option is included in the audio settings for a select number of shows and movies.
Only some movies and shows are actually available for audio description on Amazon Prime Video. You will see this label on the details page of any show or movie. The audio description tag will be placed near the other language settings.
All movies and shows on Amazon Prime Video will include an area for subtitles and audio options. The only problem with mobile is that it's harder to see what those options are because of the smaller text. You will need to expand the languages section of your show or movie to determine if it has the choices you are looking for.
By navigating to the subtitles and audio settings of Amazon Prime Video, you can control the movie or show to be in a language you are more comfortable with. Audio descriptions can even describe everything that is happening on screen besides the dialogue.
Viki is the first name to spring to mind when thinking of a safe place to stream Korean dramas. Yet, it is not Kdrama-centered, and you won't be so lucky to watch any of the latest or popular Kdramas as you want. On the bright side, all the content on Viki is legal and you are reassured to watch Korean movies online free with English subtitles as well as in other languages. (The subbers from the Viki community have done their best to supply you with high quality subtitles in multiple languages).
AsianCrush is another legal place to watch Asian dramas and movies free online. You can access freely its drama library and enjoy instant updates. The unfavorable side of AsianCrush is that its content is only available across North America.
Dramacool is no stranger to most Kdrama fans. Besides the large library of Kdrama resources, Dramacool also hosts a great deal of TV shows and movies from other Asian countries. To my knowledge, Dramacool is the fastest to update new dramas and episodes than the rest sites. The sub is of high quality. Moreover, Dramacool does not use any ads or pup-ups on its site.
KissAsian enjoys large popularity among numerous Kdrama lovers for it has a huge collection of Korean drama and movie resources and provides good quality English subtitles as well. What I like about KissAisan is its most active Disqus place that us users can discuss the plots, the characters, and other things with each other freely and effectively. But you have to turn off the ad-blocker to play the video.
Languages Available in: The download links above has Frozen Feversubtitles in Arabic, Bengali, Brazillian Portuguese, Chinese Bg Code, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Farsi Persian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Malayalam, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Ukranian, Vietnamese Languages.
