Leon's parents were murdered about a year before Wanda met him. Several days prior to Leon and Franklin visiting Wanda's house, Wanda and Manboy had a falling out, Wanda's crack addiction got out of control, and Wanda eventually attacked him and bit Leon's hand. Leon was able to pull out and used the knife from Franklin's bag to stab Wanda several times. After stabbing her, he was able to pull her off of him and drag her to the bathroom. He then called Franklin on his cell phone and told her to call 911.
Nancy did not deem it pertinent to even mention the 45 minutes long unconscious, or more likely unconscious, state Manboy had Wanda in when she found them in the bedroom. She did add that she deemed it wise to have the paramedics over immediately to treat Manboy's bite marks. She also remembered the door and didn't think Franklin needed the warrant because the EMTs were on scene within minutes. She also never mentioned the fact that she had called the police on her phone.
